Termite Junk Smash is useless

I used to love termite, but his junk smash does not work...

I have neven gotten any spare parts using his junk smash. His ability costs spare parts and if he can't collect spare parts, then he is basically useless...

Does anyone have an experience using junk smash to collect spare parts?

It has worked for me. Not saying it works often enough to justify the cost, but it does sometimes yield spare parts :)

The junk smash is most useful on enemies bunched together, like a group of grubs or enemies gathering at a strategic point. If you use it correctly you can easily get a good base defence very early in the game.

You should note that parts and morsels will stop spawning altogether when the round has been drawn out for TOO LONG.  Either by skill, or by random spawn; once a certain amount of time has passed (long after the gold income reached 1/s), any resource producing ability will cease to produce anything, and random spawns will no longer happen, in an effort to prevent the players in Endless from reaching 9999 Scrap Metal.  Highest I reached exploiting certain rounds with Termite is around 4000 Scrap Metal.
